Frequently asked questions

Is PDFWise free to use?

PDFWise offers a free tier with core tools like merge, split, and compress. Advanced features such as OCR at scale, unlimited chat with documents, and batch processing may require a subscription, managed through your Apple App Store or Google Play account.

Are my documents kept private?

Yes. Files are encrypted in transit and at rest, used only to perform the action you request, and automatically deleted after processing unless you choose to save them to your account. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How do I request a refund?

Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Refunds are handled by those platforms directly — visit reportaproblem.apple.com or Google Play's refund policy to start a request.

How do I delete my account and data?

You can delete your account from within the app under Settings → Account → Delete Account, or by following the instructions on our Account & Data Deletion page.

Why do I see ads in the app?

The free version of PDFWise is supported by ads served through Google AdMob. Removing ads is available as part of a paid subscription. See Section 5 of our Privacy Policy for how ad data is handled.
